Concessions Manager

Position: Food Service – Concession Manager

Classification: August – June (Hourly)

Reports To: Food Service Director

Lenawee Christian Ministries provides a Christ-centered education, spiritual development, and wellness services to the Lenawee County community, centered around Jesus Christ. 

Position Summary:

Lenawee Christian School’s vision is to see students grow in their relationship with Jesus; strive towards their full potential, and to live a life of influence. This role will serve our community by organizing concession food items for all home athletic contests.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Order and shop for all food items for the athletic concessions under the food license of the school at large. This role will coordinate with the school’s food service manager.

·         Manage food inventory to limit spoilage and provide the necessary items for home athletic contests.

·         Manage the profitability of the concession by being aware of vender price options.

·         Develop procedures for how to open and close the concession for S2S workers and ensure we meet local health department requirements.

·         Train workers to ensure consistency, efficiency, and a safe service environment.

·         Ensure the concession areas are clean and ready to serve food items.

Qualifications:

·         Christian Faith:

·         Profess and demonstrate a personal commitment to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

·         Adherence to Christian principles and values in both personal and professional life.

·         Educational Background/Experience:

·         The individual will be part of the LCS school family and able to plan and manage different sizes of events

·         Experience in managing people, preferably overseeing food service.

·         Must hold or be able to get a current food handlers license
