Scholarships

At LCS, we are committed to providing opportunities for students to pursue their academic goals regardless of financial circumstances. Explore the scholarships available and learn how to apply below.

How to Apply

For Current Students: Applications and supporting documentation must be received by June 15th. Surveys from references (see below) must be completed by June 30th.
The LCS scholarship committee will review all applications and awards will be distributed by August 1st.

For New Students: Scholarship Applications must be submitted with in 30 days of acceptance.

  1. Complete a FACTS application.

    1. Login/Create Account for FACTS: www.lenawee.org/facts-apply

    2. Complete FACTS Application Form.

  2. Submit the following in a single email to rmannor@lenawee.org:

    1. Academic Record from Prior School if you are a new student.

    2. GPA & Academic Record will be utilized for all applicants as part of the decision process.

    3. A Pastoral or Spiritual recommendation letter that highlights:

      1. Attendance and participation

      2. Leadership Roles

      3. Examples of dedication and a passion for Christ

      4. Anything that would exemplify the student as a commendable candidate.

    4. Three character references (Examples: Teacher, Coach, Friend, Employer).

      1. Include phone number and an email address.

      2. Each reference will receive a survey from the scholarship committee.

      3. Your Pastor can not be one of these three references; however, a member of the church may be.

    5. An essay explaining:

      1. Why do you want to come, or stay, at LCS?

      2. How will you contribute to the student body?

      3. How will this scholarship money help you and others?

Merit Scholarships

In addition to the above, LCS also has merit scholarships! LCS annually awards merit scholarships to students entering grades 1-12 for the following school year. LCS awards up to twenty-five scholarships and $15,000 towards tuition! Awards are based on characteristics such as perseverance, positive attitude, attendance, encouragement, and more. Students apply for the Leadership and Service scholarships, while Teachers and Administration nominate for others.

Do you know a family who would be a great addition to LCS? Share your love of LCS with them and if they enroll and mention your name, you will receive a bonus of $300 off your tuition! LCS offers other discounts such as Family-size for 3+ students, Clergy, Alumni and Tuition pre-pay.
