Reports To: LCM Director of Finance

Lenawee Christian Ministries provides a Christ-centered education, spiritual development, and wellness services to the Lenawee County community, centered around Jesus Christ.
Position Summary:
The Director of Facilities reports to the Director of Finance and is responsible for planning, organizing, developing and directing the overall operation of the facilities in accordance with policies and procedures, current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing our facility to assure that our facility is maintained in a safe and comfortable manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Conducts interviewing, selection, training, performance evaluations, and wage and salary administration
Works in a proactive manner to maintain facilities at peak performance while minimizing deferred maintenance
Maintains safe working conditions and practices
Oversees maintenance of the interior and exterior of all buildings and grounds in all seasons
Provides 24-hour coverage for all equipment on grounds
Ensures the performance, condition, and reliability of all plumbing, mechanical, and electrical equipment to ensure efficient operation of all equipment.
Develops, implements, and maintains written maintenance policies and procedures
Assures that outside services are properly completed/supervised in accordance with contracts/work orders
Provides fiscal management for unit operations to ensure proper utilization of financial resources
Prepares and plans operations and capital budgets and forecasts needs for the facilities
Schedules required major equipment purchases, remodeling, and special projects as assigned.
Purchases supplies and equipment as necessary
Reviews billing from contractors for accuracy
Plans, coordinates, and carries out all fire drills in all buildings in accordance with State Fire Regulations
Maintains door locks and key control to ensure building security
Qualifications:
· Christian Faith:
· Profess and demonstrate a personal commitment to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
· Adherence to Christian principles and values in both personal and professional life.
· Educational Background/Experience:
· Leadership, team-building, and problem-solving skills to effectively supervise staff and interact with all levels of management.
· Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement and interpret the programs and policies of the ministry.
· A personal relationship with Jesus Christ which is the result of obedience to the biblical plan of salvation.
